Note :
To have best use and keep the properties in good condition, store in dry place.
In case of moisture, dry the electrode at 70-100oC for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use. |

AWS E7018
Mild Steel Electrodes
Description: E7018 is an excellent carbon steel electrode with iron powder low hydrogen potassium coating. It is used on both AC and DC in all position. As the coating contains iron powder, it has highly efficient welding and can reduce welding layers.
Application: Used to weld low carbon structure and low alloy steel structure., such as 16 Mn etc. |

Note:
Before welding, it is necessary to clean the work piece and remove the impurities such as oil ,grease rust and moisture, bake the electrode at the temperature of about 350 degree centigrade for one hour. The welding must be carried out under short arc and is suitable for narrow path. When used DC, the electrode must be connected with positive polarity. |
